Nick Griffin's Unexcellent American Adventure

Hot on the heels of the British National Party's being forced to admit non-White members, Nick Griffin's tour of America is going rather poorly. Maybe he should have stayed at home.

Some days, it doesn't pay to get out of bed. But for Nick Griffin, spokesperson of the until-just-recently Whites Only British National Party, it hasn't paid to get out of bed for at least a few months. Perhaps he will do us all a favor and stay under covers from here on out.

The trouble started back in September, when, at long last, the Commission for Equality & Human Rights realized that the BNP's long-demonized "no non-Whites" membership clause was just a little racist, and insisted that they change, giving them until a certain date to so so.

Griffin and his fellow boneheads were defiant, of course, but admitted that they would have to knuckle under. Attempting to get that decision reversed would have taken time and money that the BNP, by Griffin's own admission, did not have. So rather than be economically bled to death, the party has just voted to amend their constitution and allow non-Whites to join.

"We recognise legal reality," Griffin told the BBC: "They can't call us racist any more."

Sure enough, they have their first possible non-White member waiting. A septuagenarian Sikh who's lived in England since 1967. He's articulate, well-spoken, and hideously Islamophobic - having lived through the horrors of the Indian partition, and become worried that England is about to become a Muslim state.

(Which just goes to show that 1) Just because someone's a member of a minority religion, it doesn't make them a wise and even-tempered person, and 2) some people just deserve each other.)

But Nick's not the type to sit at home and lick his wounds. Instead, he has embarked on a tour of America, hoping to speak on various topics before ending at the White Separatist American Renaissance conference in Washington D.C.

Or so he planned, anyway. According to our friends at YAF-Watch, Nick Griffin's stop at Kenyon College was canceled when the sponsor learned what a dogs-lunch Mr. Griffin was, and the American Renaissance conference itself was canceled when anti-fascists rained on their parade.

That leaves only a barely-advertised stop at Michigan State University, which has hosted Griffin once before, back when MSU YAF was large and in charge. Now MSU YAF are apparently defunct - or at least uncharacteristically quiet - and a new group calling itself the Sons of Liberty are having Griffin come to tell us about how liberals are trying to ruin national sovereignty with climate change scares.

Jordan Zammit, a political science/pre-law freshman and founder and president of the Sons of Liberty, said, “It is an honor to host a distinguished speaker like Nick Griffin. His views will greatly contribute to the marketplace of ideas which is a fundamental aspect of a collegiate education.” The Sons of Liberty was named after the secretive pre-Revolutionary War group of American patriots—including Paul Revere, Patrick Henry, John Hancock, and John and Samuel Adams—who advocated for freedom and sovereignty.

Whether Mr. Zammit is fully aware of what Nick Griffin and the BNP stand for is unknown at this time, as is what the Sons of Liberty stand for, and why and how the American Renaissance people got the press release in the first place. Also up in the air is whether the speech will take place, now that the American Renaissance conference is kerflumpt.

We'll have to see how that speech goes, but if it's anything like the last time he came, Griffin may not leave with fond memories of Lansing.

MSU YAF to Bring BNP's Nick Griffin to Speak

Some time ago, I blogged about Michigan State University's chapter of Young Americans for Freedom, and how they were planning on suing the Southern Poverty Law Center for listing their chapter as a "Hate Group."

There's been no word of any forward motion on the lawsuit, but, in typical MSU YAF fashion, they seem to have shot themselves in the foot by bringing a genuine racist, anti-Semite and Holocaust denier to speak on campus.

East Lansing, Mich. – Nick Griffin, the chairman of the British National Party (BNP), will deliver a speech at Michigan State University on the issue of how Europe is rapidly becoming “Eurabia.” He will be speaking on October 26, from 7 to 9 p.m., in Room E100 of the Veterinarian Medical Center. The student organization that is hosting the event is the Young Americans for Freedom (YAF).

Kyle Bristow, the chairman of Michigan State University chapter of YAF, said, “It is an honor to host Nick Griffin at my university. Griffin is going to explain how multiculturalism, mass immigration, and Islam are destroying Western civilization.”

Of course, these are the kinds of things that YAF like to harp on. What's unknown is if they truly understand what Nick Griffin, and the BNP, stand for.

In a nutshell, the British National Party is an extreme nationalist party that is against non-white immigration and race-mixing. Since Nick Griffin became its Chairman, they have backpedaled from vocally expressing some of their more extremist stands, such as open admiration for Hitler and the Nazis, and started couching their xenophobia in bland, less obvious terms.

That said, the veneer isn't too deep to penetrate. The BNP's Constitution still states: "The British National Party ... is wholly opposed to any form of racial
integration between British and non-European peoples. It is therefore committed
to stemming and reversing the tide of non-white immigration and to restoring... the overwhelmingly white makeup of the British population that existed in Britain prior to 1948." Membership is still denied to persons who are not "Indigenous Caucasian," meaning that they hail from the British Isles.

Nick Griffin was prosecuted for "incitement to racial hatred" after publishing a holocaust-denying magazine, making several anti-Semitic statements, and publicly denying that the Holocaust took place. As late as 2006 he had not recanted those statements, and went on record saying “It’s well known that the chimneys from the gas chambers at Auschwitz are fake, built after the war ended.”’

Interestingly enough, the BNP claim to have Jewish members, but will only allow in Jews who can prove British descent.

MSU YAF's nemeses at YAF Watch have been chronicling the matter quite heavily, as you might expect. In response, YAF alumnus Jason Van Dyke and YAF Chairman Kyle Bristow have tried to deflect criticism by pointing out that YAF, itself, is not anti-Semitic (with Bristow's insinuating, falsely, that my letter to the editor insinuated it was). They also claim that Griffin has "recanted" his previous statements, but have thus far failed to provide any sources to back it up.

In a nutshell, YAF's argument is: We can be bad because leftists are bad people, too; the BNP is a legitimate party; anything Griffin said back then doesn’t matter because he might have been seriously inquiring as to the veracity of the Holocaust for non-racist purposes, regardless of where he and the BNP were at that time; and besides, it’s YAF’s “understanding” that he’s recanted it all; so come and listen to him talk about how Islam is super-bad news and make up your own mind, regardless of the facts.

The audience might be quite lively. According to YAF Watch, not only have the racists at Stormfront made noises about attending, but Anti-Racist Action of Wayne State University is planning to come protest. And MSU Student groups are planning on attending and/or protesting as well, of course.

I have yet to get a satisfactory answer from any member of YAF as to their stance on Nick Griffin's more radical statements, or the BNP's views on race. I have challenged them to say whether they stand by their speaker, and so far it appears they do.

The question is how much of Griffin's views are shared by MSU YAF. And, if not, whether their invitation is just another cynical attempt to make the campus Left look manic and violent by bringing a real monster around to protest.

David Horowitz denounces MSU-YAF's Nick Griffin Event

The Islamo-fascist website Indymedia.org is claiming that a British anti-Semite named Nick Griffin was part of Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week at Michigan State, where he was sponsored by Young America's Foundation. Both of these claims are lies. There was no Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week event at Michigan State and Young America's Foundation did not sponsor Griffin. The Indymedia article makes other malicious false claims such as "David Horowitz likes to roll with people associated with groups like the Council of Conservative Citizens." This is a very old slander which I refuted when it was first made but in dealing with fascists you are dealing with people who never retract their slanders or cease to repeat them.

I don't know if David Horowitz got the point that it wasn't the Young America's Foundation that sponsored Griffin, but the ever-controversial Michigan State University chapter of Young Americans for Freedom. YAF and YAF are tied to one another, yes, but this wasn't that.

Griffin was invited to Michigan State by the campus chapter of Young Americans for Freedom. He was supposed to give a one-hour talk about Islam and then answer questions for an hour, but audience members started shouting at him shortly after he started his talk and he shifted to Q&A format so he could answer what was being shouted at him.

The event took place on the last day of (but was not part of) Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week, an event organized by David Horowitz to sponsor speakers on campuses nationwide to criticize radical Islam. Organizers of the speech at Michigan State said that while they supported Horowitz’s activities, it was “a coincidence” that they brought in their anti-Muslim speaker the same week as Horowitz was planning his activities. Horowitz disavowed the event, but some Muslim leaders said it was a perfect demonstration of their prediction that his activities would make it easier for others to attack Islam on campuses.

Kyle Bristow, a junior and chairman of the Michigan State group that brought Griffin to the campus, said that he didn’t agree with all of the speaker’s views, quipping that aside from Pat Buchanan, “there’s no one I agree with 100 percent.”

He said that because Griffin has “recanted” his past Holocaust denial, that shouldn’t be an issue. What should get attention, he said, was that a speaker was shouted down and that organizers of the event were later “chased by a mob with sticks and bats.” He accused the Michigan State police of not taking the attack seriously.

Terry Denbow, vice president for university relations at Michigan State, said that he was at the event and personally called the police when he saw the incident after the speech, and that four police cars arrived almost instantly.

I could have sworn that I read, or heard, that Griffin was brought in as part of Islamo-Fascism Awareness week by MSU-YAF. I'll have to see if I can find that. I MAY have been imagining things.

Shock! British National Party to Admit Non-Whites

England's notorious racist organization is being forced to "adapt" to the times and allow in the very same people they were wanting to deport not that long ago. Irony, anyone?

This has been something of a mixed year for the British National Party: a racist, anti-immigration party that wants to return England back to its ancestral racial makeup. On one hand, they got two seats in the European Parliament. "The most demonised and lied about party in British politics has made a massive breakthrough," said party leader Nick Griffin at the time. Others had much less celebratory things to say.

But then the tide started turning once again. Not long after Griffin declared that the BNP has become the "driving force for British politics," we have been shown just how hollow a claim that was. Because rather than pay the million+ pounds to fight a court case against the Commission for Equality & Human Rights, which brought them up for their exclusionary admission policies Nick Griffin has stated that the BNP may, at last, have to admit non-White members.

The British National Party will have to adapt to the undemocratic Orwellian ‘equality laws’ with regards to party membership criteria, or it will die, party leader Nick Griffin warned ...

“The CEHR move is a deadly serious threat to our very existence,” Mr Griffin said in a statement this evening. He pointed out that the severe danger to the party was illustrated by the fact that the court ordered the BNP to pay the costs of today’s hearing — which amount to thousands of pounds — and yet nothing had been decided.

To pursue the case all the way to an appeal in the House of Lords could cost the party more than a million pounds, he continued. This would effectively strip the party of its ability to fight the next general election....

Adapt or die is the only decision left to make, for failure to adapt would lead either to our being bled white through the courts or crushed by new criminal laws.

In other words, the driving force of British politics can't afford a lengthy legal battle to stay true to itself, so it's turning the "No Blacks, Dogs, or Jews" sign in its "to let" window around for now.

But do not despair, boneheads! This is not the end.

Party unity is priceless, because a party of brothers standing shoulder to shoulder can be persecuted, but it can never be beaten or broken.”

Mr Griffin concluded with a promise that once the party had moved to a “truly defensible position, we will go on the attack. Not just politically, so that our enemies quickly rue the day when they broke the very stick with which they have beaten us for so long, but also legally.

“We will be going into legal battle against Trevor Phillips and the rest of the ‘curs’, but it will be fought on ground that we choose, at the time that we appoint, and with our maximum strength directed against their weakest point. Our time will come — and sooner than they think.”

And if that tactic doesn't work, and the "enemy" floods their membership, Foreign Affairs spokesman Arthur Kemp reassures us that "even if this unlikely scenario ever happens, we will just all leave and start a new party. People vote for the principles of the party, and not the name. We will do that again and again and even if we end up with something called the Ying Tong Tiddle I Po party, we will still be here."

(That's in reference to the Ying Tong Song by the Goons, btw.)

Oh what happy times we live in to see racist cockroaches scuttle away from the light on their hands and knees! This is doubtlessly not the death-knell for the BNP, but it is at least a sign that they are not as powerful as they would have liked to tell us they were.

The BNP – As Bad as You Think They Are

Now that the British National Party has actually gotten somewhere in its drive to win respectability, and elections, it’s time to pull the curtain away from the propaganda and reveal them for what they were, and still are -- White Separatists with a racist agenda.

While the American press continues to purl and knit about whether it’ll be Obama or Clinton, a momentous occasion took place in England. The rightly-controversial, whites-only British National Party (BNP) scored promising electoral victories in the most recent election, most notably electing a member to the London Assembly Seat, and holding a total of 100 council seats for the first time ever.

This has been a while in coming. For the past few years, since Nick Griffin took control of the organization, the BNP has drastically reworked its image. Gone were the obvious links to racism and violence that plagued it in the past. Word substitution and careful rephrasing of ideas became the new way, and the more boisterous members were told to leave and join the National Front. Recent world events -- most notably 9/11 and an increased understanding of the dangers of radical Islam -- have made some of their less-changed messages seem much more palatable, even sensible. And, given the short memories of the electorate, that’s been more than enough to gain the BNP support and votes from people you’d think would be more sensible.

On the surface, it seems as though the BNP have risen from a questionable past to a better future. The truth is not too deeply hidden, though; if you know where and how to look, it’s clear that the party has only changed its language, and not its heart. It remains to be seen if the BNP’s remarkable -- but still modest -- gains will pave the way for future successes, or give them a chance to shoot themselves in the foot in front of the cameras, rather than behind them. But no one should be fooled by the hype -- past the propaganda, this is still your father’s BNP.

These days, the BNP packages itself behind a slick -- if overly busy --web page that has just about every answer you could want, except for the truth. The real face of the party leaks out, though, thanks to undercover work by The Guardian (in 2006) and the occasional embarrassing photograph from David Duke’s European American Conference (in 2005). So much for learning from errors of the past!

In fact, the most ironic thing about the BNP’s much-vaunted page proving they’re not racists or White Supremacists is that it proves them, by their arguments, to be White Separatists, which is also a racist philosophy. (It also shows they can’t debate worth a damn, which is why they may have so many problems getting elected, until now).

For example, lifted straight from the page:

i. Why do you disapprove of mixed marriages?

We believe in human diversity and in preserving the individuality and identity of all different ethnic groups. It is sad when a unique human genotype becomes extinct - as has happened around the world in the past and is happening today in the Amazon and in New Guinea. While a small number of mixed marriages – or mixed race children - in Britain won’t, in themselves, make any difference, if this is encouraged however as it is at present by politicians and the media then inevitably the traditional British genotype will be endangered in the long-term. Environmentalists are always keen to preserve unique animal species in the wild, so why shouldn’t the same principle apply to people? We believe that Britain’s proud history of glorious achievements demonstrates that the British genotype is a valuable one and deserves to be preserved.

iv. If you believe that the races are different then you are racists.
Not at all. The definition of a racist is someone who hates people of other races. We do not hate anybody. Anyone who says the BNP is racist is either misinformed or a liar.

v. Why don’t you let blacks and Asians into the BNP?
For the same reason the Girl Guides don’t allow boys to join. Does that mean they are sexist? Does it mean they hate boys? Of course not, it’s just that their aim is to cater for the interests of girls, and similarly the BNP isn’t racist, but our purpose is to cater for the interests of the indigenous British population. The indigenous population of Britain is now the only group which is facing systematic, legalised and institutionalised discrimination, harassment and oppression. That’s precisely why the British people need the BNP - because we are the one and only organisation that has their interests at heart. There are hundreds of organisations exclusively for blacks or Asians, but only one organisation for the indigenous population - the BNP.

viii. Do you accept or deny that blacks/Asians born in Britain are totally British?
People are partly the product of their environment, but mainly of their genes. Spike Milligan and Joanna Lumley were born in India – do you think they are Indians? It was the Duke of Wellington who said that just because someone is born in a stable that doesn’t make him a horse.
To be truly British one has to have a British genotype, as well as to have fully adopted British culture. Blacks and Asians born here are legally British and should be treated as such, but they are not genetically British. Indeed, most blacks and Asians do not see themselves as wholly British, and often refer to themselves as British Asians, or British Pakistanis, etc.

xi. Do you want an all-white Britain?
We have no objection to a limited number of people of different races or cultures, but they shouldn’t be so many that they actually change the area they live in. Ethnic minorities should be just that – minorities, making up no more than 2-3% of the population of any given area. In some areas their numbers have become too high, and there are parts of our towns and cities which have become visibly foreign. We want a traditional Britain.

Note the use of “indigenous” for White. Note how they very carefully say that they aren’t racists because they don’t hate, but won’t acknowledge directly that the reason they want a more “traditional” (that is, mostly White) Britain is because they think that immigrants bring crime and hate with them, to say nothing of freaky religions they can’t understand. On a more visceral note, they’re terrified of a creeping, brown shadow turning their cities and towns non-White, one filled flat at a time.

Is it White Supremacy? No. But it is White Separatism, which is just as racist as hating someone because of the color of their skin, or thinking them inferior. In this case, you’re stating, through your desire to keep non-Whites out, or at least to 2-3% of the population, that there must be something wrong with non-White people, otherwise you’d be accepting them with open arms.

Then there’s the old Nick -- Nick Griffin, who spearheaded and managed the BNP’s conversion from overt racism to coded racism. One of his chief detractions is that he’s a denier of the Holocaust, which is another matter that the party would like swept under the rug. And to his credit, Griffin has done most of the sweeping.

As the BNP says on its “Truth” page:

vii. Your leader is on record denying the Holocaust ever happened and claiming that Jews control the media -- you are clearly an anti-Semitic party.
Not at all. Dredging up quotes from 10, 15, 20 years ago is really pathetic and, in a sense, rather fascist. Everyone knows that people’s political philosophies evolve and change as they develop – at least three Labour ministers were previously Communist Party members, for instance - and Nick Griffin has repeatedly stated that he has changed his views since then. The BNP is in no way anti-Semitic nor do we deny the Holocaust. We have many Jewish members and are pleased to have a Jewish councillor in Epping, who is, indeed, the group leader there.*

The 10 years ago is a very significant number, as that’s the last time that Griffin really got caught with his trousers down on the subject. Since his conviction for incitement for what he wrote in The Rune, long ago when he and his colleagues weren’t aiming for respectability, he has been very, very careful about how he couches things.

He used to talk about the “Holohoax.” Now?

“Then we have an hour plus of Q&As and debate … several of the leftists try to sidetrack the debate down the Holocaust road although that does at least allow me to set the record straight and deal with the combination of Wikipedia lies and out-of-context propaganda and to put on record the fact that -- while I used to be very angry at (and rude about) the way the left-liberals use the Holocaust as a moral club to silence debate on the key issues of our time -- I have never denied the fact that the Nazis murdered huge numbers of Jews in one of the great crimes of a century of terrible inhumanity.”

Angry and rude? Oh, definitely. And he isn’t lying when he says he never denied the fact that Nazis killed huge numbers of Jews. However, as with so many things the BNP, or their spokespeople, say, that’s a rather slippery half-truth.

The truth is that, as someone who does not like Jews and non-White people in his Britain, he denied the full verifiable, historical record of the Holocaust in order to support his dislike when faced with being likened to the Nazis. The old argument, most often prompted by claims that “If you hate Jews and non-whites, and don’t want a multi-racial society, you’re like the Nazis, who killed six million Jews in the Holocaust” was “They didn’t kill six million Jews. They only killed a thousand, maybe a few hundred thousand. More people died on the battlefields. The Holocaust simply did not happen as described.”

An example of the old argument can be seen on the Cook Report, just over a decade ago. He trots out the “hundreds of thousands” number at 36 seconds in. Gas chambers? “Nonsense,” he says: “exposed as a total lie.”

The new argument can be seen in action during this talk-turned-shouting match at Michigan State University, when MSU’s infamous chapter of Young Americans for Freedom brought him in to speak about the “dangers” of Islam.

Using the careful language that he’s employed in recent years, Griffin spouted the line that he once said “very rude things,” because he was upset that the Holocaust had been “used as a business” and as a “huge moral club to prevent any discussion of things such as the preservation of nationality” and problems with mass immigration. But that said that “I have never doubted that vast numbers of entirely innocent Eastern European Jews were murdered by the Nazis and their allies during the Second World War.”

So far, he was on message. But then he made the mistake of allowing himself to be tired down to actual numbers, rather than saying “vast.” How many dead? He said that he believed that 20 million were killed, according to what was stated at Nuremburg. (Video is here. He starts talking about the Holocaust at 4:02)

20 Million? Where on earth did he get that number? The best estimates we have -- bolstered in part by the Nazis’ excellent record-keeping -- is around 11 million, when all victims, including the Jews, are totaled together. The only number I can find in reference to 20 million killed in a Holocaust would be the 20 million killed by Josef Stalin in the 1930’s while remolding the Soviet Union to fit his desires. (Lest anyone forget that, in terms of sheer bodycount, Stalin was much worse than Hitler)

Again, this isn’t a “recanting” or “retraction” of his earlier, stated beliefs but a dodge, and a rather slippery and slimy one at that. Nick Griffin hasn’t changed his views: he’s just learned to parse his statements, and hopes that no one can remember that he did deny something quite important. The fact that he won’t seriously answer how many died in the Holocaust is a sign that he hasn’t really put any thought behind the gravity of his previous errors.

Indeed, according to a rather intriguing article by Searchlight magazine -- which chronicles Griffin’s career with the National Front, before coming on board with the BNP in 1995 -- “As recently as April 2007 Griffin told a reporter that he did believe in the Holocaust but only because “European law” required him to do so.”

Let it be resolved, then: Nick Griffin’s BNP is, was and will most likely always be bad news. Still, as a nose-broken Geraldo Rivera once said (after dealing with the sort of people Nick Griffin and the BNP might clasp to their bosom), Sunlight is the best disinfectant. One can only hope that having a BNP man in full view on the London Assembly will show the British people exactly what they’re dealing with, and lead to the party’s swift fumigation the next electoral cycle.


*(Note: The BNP does have Jewish members, yes. However, they appear to be non-practicing Jews if the reports are correct. Also, we should remember that, in the case of genuinely anti-Semitic Jews, Black Confederate soldiers, and Gay Republicans, that no one is immune to drinking the kool-aid when it comes to joining an organization that doesn’t like you.)

BREAKING NEWS - MSU Griffin Speech Cancelled

The newly-formed registered student organization at Michigan State University, the Sons of Liberty, cancelled its first public event. Nick Griffin, a democratically-elected member of the European Parliament and chairman of the British National Party, was scheduled to speak at MSU on February 18 regarding the fraud of man-made global warming. The event was cancelled because left-wing agitators caused other organizations to cancel their own events that featured Griffin, and it could not be justified for Griffin to fly to the U.S. to only speak at MSU and at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C.

Jordan Zammit, the founder and president of the Sons of Liberty, said, “The Left does a very good job of advocating free speech for themselves while denying it to others. I am very proud to say that the Sons of Liberty, in its inaugural run, did what it was meant to do and that is ensure that all points of view are presented and that the first amendment is upheld for ALL people to the fullest. If the other speaking venues would not have canceled and his speaking tour called off, I can assure you Mr. Griffin would have been here Thursday afternoon as scheduled, intimidation or not.

Zammit also said, “Although Griffin was targeted in Sweden with assassination by leftists when they tried to bomb the train he was riding on in 2006, members of the Sons of Liberty were not—and are not—afraid of the red menace. My organization is made up of common sense young men and women, both considerably liberal and conservative, of numerous races and creeds, whom all believe that the rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution are something sacred, and that no matter who is speaking, he or she has every right to, and whether you agree with them or not, it can never hurt to listen.”

Not that coming to listen would have been all that easy. According to Todd Heywood at the Michigan Messenger, no one wanted to give out the info on where the talk was going to be held. For a while it looked like the only people who were invited were members of the Sons of Liberty! But he persevered and finally found it the talk was going to be at the MSU Student Union... though that's a moot point now.

So who are the Sons of Liberty? Where will they strike next? And will we hear about it at all? Tune in to the rANT Farm!

MSU-YAF Nick Griffin Fallout Reveals Strange Conservative Split

As reported earlier in this blog, Michigan State University's chapter of Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) brought BNP Chairman Nick Griffin - Islamophobe, Racist, Jew-hater and Holocaust Denier - to speak on the "dangers" of Islam this last Friday. It was poorly publicized, but word got out anyway, with mostly counter-protesters (and a possible entourage from Stormfront) attending.

What followed was pretty predictable, though not without a shock or two. According to the Lansing State Journal the protesters shouted and chanted Griffin down, so much so that he abandoned his speech in favor of an extended Q&A session. After some time, the protesters left en masse, and someone pulled the fire alarm. And after the speech, exiting YAF members were apparently chased by a "mob of extremists carrying baseball bats, canes and sticks. The mob shouted “let’s get them” as the YAF members ran towards safety."

(The folks at YAF-Watch claim to have seen the chase in question, but reported there were only 8 people in the "mob," and only one person with a cane, though that "does not minimize the reality of the assault." YAF responded angrily that it was two dozen people, most of whom had canes and pieces of lumber (the baseball bats and sticks seem to have vanished) and that "lying" YAF-Watch members should be "prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law" if they say otherwise in a criminal investigation.)

But what's really interesting is that, as news of the event and its aftermath reached the conservative blogosphere, not only was there some condemnation of MSU YAF's having brought Nick Griffin to speak, but MSU YAF showed what may be more of their true face.

The controversial - some would say "Islamophobic" - conservative blog Little Green Footballs quickly condemned MSU YAF for their choice of speaker, calling it the "boneheaded move of the year."

If this was another case of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend,” it couldn’t possibly be more misguided. From the statement by Kyle Bristow, it’s clear that the YAF (not related to Jason Mattera’s group, the Young America’s Foundation) knew exactly who Griffin was when they invited him.

The YAF should apologize for this, and renounce any associations with the BNP or Griffin. It’s an indefensible move, and a gigantic mistake. Do the right thing, and distance yourselves now while you can still control the damage.

Did MSU YAF take the hint and try to save face? Of course not. Instead, they went on the warpath against LGF, calling them "Prissy RINOs" (Republicans In Name Only).

In case you do not read Little Green Footballs, the blog is pro-Muslim, left-wing, politically correct, and basically a front for neoconservative foreign policy (instead of defending their culture, they want to build schools in the Anbar province). They are basically a puppet of the multiculturalists and believe that Islam is not the enemy of Western civilization and Christendom. Only Bush-bots read the Little Green Footballs blog.

Instead of writing about threats to Western civilization, the LGF blog has recently attacked organizations who are fighting the culture war by doing more than just posting stuff on a blog that only like-minded people read.

Many of the comments on the LGF blog are critical of Pat Buchanan, Ron Paul, and paleoconservatism. If you are not a big government, globalist, middle-class-hating, promoter of economic treason, then LGF doesn't like you.

LGF and Al Qaeda both have something in common: they hate Western civilization and those who stand up for it.

The sparks probably won't stop flying on this one for a while, but it's fascinating what this exchange has exposed. First of all, it proves that Kyle Bristow and company do indeed have poor reading comprehension skills. If they think LGF is "pro-Muslim" they either haven't been hanging out there for long, or they missed a lot of water under the bridges.

Secondly, there appears to be more to the dislike of Ron Paul than just his policies and opposition to the war in Iraq. MSU YAF describes itself as paleoconservative - indeed, that's Kyle Bristow's username on the blog - and rails against "Rudy McRomney." Meanwhile, LGF has nothing good to say about Ron Paul, mostly because of the "interesting" followers his campaign is attracting (namely, neo-nazis, america-firsters, "truthers" and the like).

Anyone who thinks all Conservatives are on the same page in the same section of the big tent is obviously smoking something wacky. But it's interesting to see the fractures so prominently showcased via this cross-blog sniping.

Hello, Stormfront/BNP Friends!

I wondered how the BNP Supporters found my article about the truth about their beloved party so quickly. Well - I guess I've got my answer! I merited a thread at Stormfront - an infamous gathering place for the "White Nationalist Community."

This is a two-way street, lunchbox. ... Without being clever enough to realize it, you have asked us to justify our very existence.

While the indigenous people of Britain only ask that non-Whites leave a White nation, you condemn our race to death for our inability to answer why it is we should exist, as if your fat ass were the Creator.

While you may be God amongst your purse full of Barbie Dolls, here, in the real world, you're just another scrawny internet-punk.

I'd like for you to come and pay me a visit out here, and we can conduct a little experiment to see just how long you'd remain living while hanging with your brothas from anotha motha.

Well, tempting as it might be to take up Stuka1488's offer, I'm a little leery of paying visits to people who name themselves after a Nazi warplane. Call it a hunch that I'd be dealing with someone like this at best. And at worst...

But while I've got you all here, watching, I sure hope you could clear a few things up for me. The previous folks who stumbled over this way did a cute song and dance about how bad immigration is, how awful non-White people are, and how the "White Race" is supposedly going to be extinct in so many years, but they really didn't touch the big questions in a meaningful manner.

So, let it not be said I'm not listening. Can someone out there from Stormfront and/or the BNP please enlighten me as to the following?

* What is so special about the White Race that we have to protect it from extinction?

* Please provide links to evidence that the White Race is in danger of being wiped out.

* The Guardian Reported that the BNP tells its members to refrain from racist and antisemitic language in public. Shouldn't that be a warning flag that there's a real concern of it occurring because many, if not most, of the members of the BNP are likely to engage in that kind of talk?

* The BNP allows Jews in, now. How do you feel about that?

* Please give me your straight-up, no-chaser definition of the Holocaust, including how many people died in it.

* Why should we believe that Nick Griffin has recanted his previous views on the Holocaust when, just last year, he was quoted as saying that he only believed in the Holocaust because European law required him to do so?

* Nick Griffin, speaking to Wales on Sunday, 1996: "All black people will be repatriated, even if they were born here ... We must preserve the white race, because it has been responsible for all the good things in civilisation”. Now he says he's for voluntary repatriation of non-Whites. Should we believe him?

* Given that the BNP isn't exactly accepting of homosexuality, how does it feel to have a man who directed a gay-themed 'Art film" as your representative on the London Assembly?

The BNP Goes to Brussels

Once again, the anti-immigrant British National Party (BNP) has scored a political victory. In spite of a massive advertising campaign set against them, they have gained two seats in the European Parliament, giving BNP head Nick Griffin a place at the 785-member body.

Which means that the man who claimed, as late as 2007, that the only reason he doesn't deny the Holocaust anymore is because European law "requires" him to acknowledge its existence may have a chance – however slim – to see that law changed.

Saul Anuzis - Still Dodging

Our readers might remember the attention we paid to Saul Anuzis -- who may be the next RNC Chairman, depending on how things go in the next few days -- and his interesting relationship with Kyle "White Apocalypse" Bristow.

In brief:

* Back when Kyle was just starting to make a total ass of himself, in 2007, Saul Anuzis defended him, calling him "exactly the type of young kid we want out there ... I've known Kyle for years and I can tell you I have never heard him say a racist or bigoted or sexist thing, ever."

* Saul apparently didn't know that Kyle had actually said numerous racist, bigoted, and sexist things on his group's blog, the Spartan Spectator (now locked down, so we can't show you direct evidence anymore. so much for conservative accountability!).

* Saul also didn't know that Kyle was making friends with people like Nick Griffin of the formerly Whites only BNP, anti-Islam MSU Professor Indrik Wichman, and Canadian Neo-Nazi Paul Fromm (all matters of public record).

* In the period of time after Saul defended Kyle, he apparently lost all ability to keep tabs on the "young kid we want out there," and entirely missed Kyle's slide into even worse shades of racism, bigotry, sexism, jew-hatred, and the like (again, locked down. Chickenshit).

* Saul also seems to have missed that, while studying law, Kyle had the time to crank out a racist Da Vinci Code knockoff, "White Apocalypse," and start a rather hideous blog that makes no bones about its White Nationalism.

So of course, now that he's trying to become the next Chairman of the Republican National Committee, a few of us are wondering what sort of relationship Mr. Anuzis still shares with Kyle Bristow. After a few news cycles of avoiding the question, Saul finally came out and officially dodged it.

In an e-mail exchange with Michigan Messenger Anuzis refused to say whether he still supports Bristow and he called reports of his 2007 comments in support of Bristow “an old story, out of context and irrelevant.”

“I have no idea what Kyle has been up to since he was MSU chair,” he wrote, “so I have no idea or comment on his current status or activities.”

*cough cough*

Of course, that could be true. But you'd think he'd keep better tabs on someone who impressed him enough that he publicly defended him against the bad press that he'd been getting -- bad press he clearly deserved.

So it's been some time since this connection has been brought up yet again, and so far no one in the mainstream, big time media really seems to want to make an issue out of it. Even the anti-Anuzis site that went up the other week doesn't bother to make any mention of it -- preferring to harp on perceived economic and policy-based irregularities in his past.

Is it really a deal-breaker? Maybe not. Maybe Anuzis didn't know what a total waste of DNA Bristow was when he defended him, all those years ago, and has been trying to dodge the damage ever since. That doesn't speak well of someone who's going to head the RNC, though.

All Anuzis would have to say is something along the lines of "look, politics is the game of strange bedfellows, and people I used to be associated with just a few years ago are no longer on my Christmas card list. I didn't know what a turd-burger the kid was then, and I'm horrified to see what he's become, now. I rescind all past praise and condemn his current excesses. Please do not think I share his warped beliefs. I repudiate them. They are not what the Republican party stands for, period."

So why doesn't he? Why does he cling to that dodgy dodge?

Maybe someone should ask the delegates.

BNP-Like

You know, you’d be surprised how angry some people get when you just tell the truth.

When I wrote about the BNP’s recent electoral wins, and the truth about what the organization was, and still is, I got quite a few upset comments from people who “supported” the party, but weren’t members for some strange reason. There were a lot of hurt feelings about supposed suppositions on my part, as well my pesky claim that the primary reason the party is concerned about increased non-White immigration into the UK is racist in nature.

Of course, the fact that, in their responses, those persons revealed that I had been telling the truth was somewhat gratifying. It’s hard to not laugh when they prove you right while trying to prove you wrong. But there are some legitimate points that had been raised, and these should be addressed.

1) If you’re really worried that unchecked mass immigration is going to make the White Race… *cough* excuse me, TRADITIONAL Britons a minority in the UK in 50 years and extinct in 200, then maybe you should consider cutting back on the amount that people are taxed. I think it’s telling that a large number of people who leave the UK are Britons heading for Spain or France, where they can live without being punished by onerous taxes. Most of the Brits I knew from my time in the UAE were working overseas because they didn’t want pay through the nose, anymore. Just a thought!

2) Being swamped with immigrants is NOT genocide. And trying to conflate it with genocide is a slap in the face to anyone who’s ever been the victim of genocide. You can monkey around with the UN’s definition of genocide all you like, but it’s not going to help you on that one.

As for the rest of what I had to say regarding the BNP’s racism, I stand by my comments 100%. And I’d like to end this missive with a song for my new BNP supporting friends. It goes to the tune of “Parklife” by Blur. Sing along, boys…
