The Cure are one of those bands that are truly progressive. Just when you think you've got them nailed down, they twist and shift into an entirely new shape. It's too bad that the shapes they've taken over the last few incarnations haven't been anywhere near as good as the past, at least for me. But I was brought up with The Top, Head on the Door, Pornography, and the magnificent Disintegration. And with b-sides like this, how can what they've done in recent years hope to compare?
