Way to Go, Michigan - |: P

"Hey, I got this great idea. Why don't we push our state's primary date up so we can compete with other states?"

Well, wasn't that a great idea? Only problem is, it screwed with the schedule, and caused some candidates to pull their names off the ballot - especially on the Democratic side of the fence.

So, let's see... I can go vote for the Hilldebeast, or I can vote for an "uncommitted" delegate to go and vote for whomever they'd care to (probably the Hilldebeast), or I can go pretend to be a Republican and vote for some loser who has no chance of winning, just to screw with THEIR side of things as badly as my side of things screwed with their own.

Count my ass out. I'm staying home tomorrow and grousing.

And the day after, I'm going to start a campaign to discover how many anarchists have infiltrated the state party apparatus. Because there's gotta be a reason we got horribly disenfranchised this year.

Doesn't there?

Why not vote for Ron Paul?

He voted against the Patriot Act, and Iraq War.
He is against NSA wiretaps.
He's been named "Tax Payers Best Friend" by the National Taxpayers Union.
Will protect your civil liberties!

Check out his site and a video interview:

Give it some serious thought.

Hey, try not to be so discouraged. Maybe you refer to Ron Paul when you talk about a loser with no chance. I'm not sure. But, you know he really would have a chance if everyone stopped saying he didnt. In fact he would win by a landslide if the media machine did not go out of their way to discredit and exclude him. Staying home is not the answer. If you all went our and voted for Ron Paul, think of the effect this could have. A chance to actually wrangle our country back from the Bohemian Grove and the Rupert Murdoch's media engine. Do not let these people make you feel helpless and that your vote doesnt matter because someone "doesnt have a chance". That's total bullshit. That is how they win. Make a statement.

Yeah, there's an idea. I'll pretend to be Republican, vote for someone who's so far behind in the poll results that it's not even funny anymore, and dream of a President who'll let his staffers and secretaries say the most outrageous, racially-charged shit imaginable, and then say "oops! Well, gosh, I can't be responsible for that."

Oh yeah. There's an idea. Thanks for spamming my blog, monkey robots.

So, I offer you positive feedback on an alternative option, and the only thing you can do is act complete irrational?

"Yeah, there's an idea. I'll pretend to be Republican"

Oh, I see. You vote for the party, not the person. Well, not only is that childish and ignorant, but it's part of the problem. You need to look at what he stand for. Did you even bother to research him? I gave you two good links.

"vote for someone who's so far behind in the poll results that it's not even funny anymore"

What's funny is that a Presidential candidate comes along, talks about freedom that has been talked about since the founding of our nation, and people question his electability because Faux News or CNN ignore him. Hmm, who owns Faux News and CNN?

"and dream of a President who'll let his staffers and secretaries say the most outrageous, racially-charged shit imaginable"

That's complete non-sense.

"Oh yeah. There's an idea. Thanks for spamming my blog, monkey robots."

I'm really surprised at your immaturity. Please, act like an adult for just a few minutes to digest what I'm saying. At least have that much respect for yourself.

Maybe you don't understand. I want to vote for someone I actually want to win. That person is not Ron Paul at this time. That person is someone who was not on the Democratic ballot.

And we had people urging Democrat-leaning folks to take advantage of the situation, and this state's open primaries, and throw a vote at Mitt Romney since he'll never get elected anyway. That's probably why he did so well.

So excuse me for being upset that the person I wanted on the ballot was not there, and not wanting to be dishonest and cast a vote for someone I DON'T want to win just to screw with the other side's chances of winning.

Maybe that's 'irrational' to you. Around here we call it honesty.

"What's funny is that a Presidential candidate comes along, talks about freedom that has been talked about since the founding of our nation, and people question his electability because Faux News or CNN ignore him."

Yep, and that's why he won't win this time around. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

"That's complete non-sense."

Oh, I take it you haven't been paying attention to the news about his newsletters? You might want to look into that.

"I'm really surprised at your immaturity."

It's one of the many free services we offer, here at the rANT Farm.

Now please fuck off away home.
